We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced
Tennis Instructor
to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about tennis, skilled in teaching, and committed to creating a positive learning environment for children, youth, and adults.
Responsibilities
Conduct group tennis lessons for players of various ages and skill levels.
Create engaging, age-appropriate lesson plans and drills.
Provide constructive feedback and encouragement to players.
Ensure a safe, fun, and inclusive environment on the court.
Assist with organizing programs, camps, and events as needed.
Develop and implement comprehensive tennis lesson plans tailored to the needs of individual students and groups.
Teach fundamental tennis skills, techniques, and strategies to players of varying abilities.
Monitor student progress, provide constructive feedback, and adjust teaching methods as necessary.
Maintain a safe and welcoming environment for all participants.
Collaborate with other instructors to promote programs and improve overall student experience.
Experience
Previous coaching or competitive playing experience required.
Tennis Canada / USPTA / PTR or equivalent coaching certification is an asset.
Strong communication and leadership skills.
Ability to work with children, youth, and adults in group and private settings.
Reliable, responsible, and team-oriented.
Schedule & Compensation:
Flexible hours (evenings and Saturdays may be required).
Competitive hourly rate based on experience and qualifications.
