We are looking for a temporary RVT and an part-time Inventory Clerk, with assisting and reception experience. Both of these positions may lead to permanent full-time.

Inventory Clerk with veterinary experience

Duties and Responsibilities of RVT



Prepare and administer medications and treatments as directed by the veterinarian Collect and prepare patient samples for laboratory analysis Prepare and assist with medical procedures Monitor patients before, during, and after procedures to ensure their well-being Admit and discharge patients; Educate clients with home care instructions as required Administrative duties including email/phone communication and maintaining accurate medical records

Qualifications



Education and Experience

Graduate from an accredited animal health or veterinary technology college program Successful completion of the Veterinary Technician National Examination (VTNE) Previous experience working as an RVT is preferred; new graduates are welcome
Skills and Attributes

Technical skills in blood collection, catheter placement, and anesthesia Perform low stress patient handling and optimal care Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong desire to learn and excel Compassionate; Aptitude for making clients feel welcomed and comfortable Self-motivated with a positive attitude Attentive to detail Strong time management and organizational skills including the ability to prioritize Cornerstone and computer troubleshooting experience is an asset

Duties and Responsibilities of Veterinary Inventory Clerk



Control the ordering and organization of pharmaceuticals and inventory to ensure accurate inventory management: Ordering from vendors, receive and rotate stock Maintain inventory recordkeeping in practice management system: Place orders using reorder points and visual inspections to maintain adequate quantities on hand, enter invoices, run expiry date reports and pull stock Contacting wholesalers and vendors to process returns for credits. Return shipping Reception and veterinary assisting experience required
