Responsibilities

Perform thorough dental cleanings and examinations for patients of all ages. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and the importance of regular dental visits. Utilize Dentrix software for patient management, record keeping, and scheduling. Assist in orthodontic procedures as needed, providing support to the dentist during treatments. Work with pediatric patients, ensuring a comfortable and friendly experience. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to infection control protocols. Collaborate with dental assistants and other staff to ensure seamless patient care. Stay updated on medical terminology and advancements in dental hygiene practices.

Qualifications

Valid dental hygiene license in the state of practice. Experience with Dentrix software is preferred. Background in orthodontics or pediatrics is a plus. Previous experience in a dental office setting is highly desirable. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients.
