Position Overview:
TCE is seeking a detail-oriented and organized
Part-Time Finance Clerk
to support our Finance Department's day-to-day operations. This remote role is ideal for someone who thrives in an administrative/financial support capacity, is comfortable working independently, and is committed to accuracy and confidentiality.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with
accounts receivable and accounts payable
data entry in the accounting system
Match, categorize, and reconcile
employee credit card receipts
to monthly VISA statements
Scan, label, and electronically store credit card receipts on TCE's secure server
Track and organize
Passport-related expense receipts
to be billed to March of Dimes
Provide
vacation relief
for other finance staff
Perform general clerical duties such as filing, scanning, and maintaining digital records
Support other finance-related tasks and special projects as assigned
Qualifications:
Experience in bookkeeping, finance administration, accounting, or a related field
Strong computer skills; comfortable navigating accounting software and digital record systems
Excellent organizational skills and high attention to detail
Strong written communication and documentation abilities
Ability to work independently, remotely, and meet deadlines
Experience in not-for-profit or social services settings considered an asset
Familiarity with TCE's supports and services, Collective Agreement, and internal policies (or willingness to learn)

$25 plus 2% in lieu of benefits and 6% vacation
