The Seabee Gold Operation is an underground gold mining and milling operation, located near Laonil Lake, Saskatchewan, Canada, approximately 125 kilometers northeast of the town of La Ronge. The Santoy underground mine has been in continuous commercial production since 2014. Commercial production at the Seabee underground mine commenced in 1991 and exhausted Mineral Resources in 2018. All ore is processed at the Seabee mill facility, which has been in operation since 1991.

This position has a schedule of 2 weeks on, 2 weeks off at our remote camp which you will be required to fly in fly out with pick up points in Saskatoon, Prince Albert & La Ronge.

The Mill Loader Operator is responsible for operating the loader equipped with front-mounted hydraulically powered bucket or scoop to lift and transport materials from the ore pile to feed the mill crusher.

Loading hoppers in an efficient manner

Operating various loaders as required

Cleaning and lubricating equipment and refilling equipment tanks

Conducting pre-operational checks on equipment

Perform daily inspections of hopper

Maintain a clean and safe work area

Perform minor maintenance on hopper unit

Assist mill operators and Maintenance personnel as required

Work in concert with Mill Spares and the Crusher Operators

Perform work in a safe and efficient manner

Report maintenance concerns to Supervisor and Maintenance department

Keep a daily log of shift events

Other: Complies with all Company standards, policies and procedures pertaining to appropriate conduct for employees, including the Code of Conduct; the Respect in the Workplace Policy; Safety, Health and Environment Policies; and any other applicable standards, policies and procedures as implemented and/or revised by the Company or by legislation.

The successful candidate will have completed Grade 12 or equivalent with previous experience operating equipment and/or working in a Mill (considered an asset).

Additionally:

Experience working in remote, fly in campsites

Minimum 1-2 years mining industry experience

Good communication skills

A positive and proactive attitude towards safety
