TEMPORARY NUTRITION LEAD
School nutrition programs are in place to improve the health and learning potential of students. The Nutrition Lead is responsible for providing healthy nutritious snacks and/or meals for students at the school. The Nutrition Lead organizes and directs the operations of the school nutrition program and performs menu planning and food preparation operations. Applicants must possess a Grade 10 or equivalent with preference given to candidates with the completion of post-secondary education related to food service or related training. Candidates must be certified in a provincially recognized food safety course or be willing to obtain accreditation at the job site. Candidates must have strong organization, communication, and interpersonal skills along with demonstrated safe food handling practices. A driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle is required.
