The Seabee Gold Operation is an underground gold mining and milling operation, located near Laonil Lake, Saskatchewan, Canada, approximately 125 kilometers northeast of the town of La Ronge. The Santoy underground mine has been in continuous commercial production since 2014. Commercial production at the Seabee underground mine commenced in 1991 and exhausted Mineral Resources in 2018. All ore is processed at the Seabee mill facility, which has been in operation since 1991.

This position has a schedule of 2 weeks on, 2 weeks off at our remote camp which you will be required to fly in fly out with pick up points in Saskatoon, Prince Albert & La Ronge.

Carries out procedures in the laboratory to perform all mine, mill, and metallurgy assays.

Documentation of all incoming samples

Preparation of all samples prior to assay procedure

Maintenance of sample preparation equipment

Maintenance of sample furnaces.

Monitoring and maintaining adequate reagents and supplies requirements.

Ensuring work areas in the Assay Lab are kept tidy and organized.

Ensures all procedures are done accurately and in accordance with established lab procedure

Maintain a safe and productive work environment to ensure the wellbeing of all lab personnel

Wear required personal protective equipment to maximize employee safety and minimize sample contamination

Other duties and responsibilities as required by the Laboratory Supervisor.

The successful candidate will have completed Grade 12 or equivalent, and should have previous related experience in an assay lab.

In addition, the successful candidate must demonstrate good communication skills and have a positive and proactive attitude towards safety.
