This leadership position is responsible for focusing on achieving hotel profitability through revenue generation, cost control, guest satisfaction and managing and developing hotel associates, while maintaining the integrity of the hotel.
Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
Monitoring expenses and revenues.
Prepare and conduct all staffing interviews. Hiring of front desk staff, housekeeping room attendants, and other various positions within the organization
Assist with the hiring, training, coaching and performance evaluation of all staff members
Developing and implementing new procedures to maximize revenues and organizational growth.
Operate according to the policies, procedures, quality standards and services established by the company
Work with, and assist all, employees in continuously exceeding guest expectations through personalized customer service and in-depth product knowledge
Handle guest comments and complaints, ensuring guests needs are met or exceeded
Additional language skills are an asset but not required
Must possess excellent communications, interpersonal, organizational, leadership and customer service skills and be a team player
Must be flexible regarding scheduling and working shifts
Must have attention to detail and the ability to multitask.
Create a positive team-oriented environment which focuses on the guest, through associate development and motivation.
Lead hotel sales efforts, including calling top accounts, meeting clients on-site, and overseeing sales staff.
Ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of the physical property through inspections and preventive maintenance programs with the departments, as well as maintaining the Wyndham Brand Standards.
Conduct staff meetings, including training sessions and reviews of previous and future sales and operations efforts.
Meet all financial review dates and corporate directed programs in a timely fashion.
Oversee and assist in the budget process as required.
Ensure that all appropriate information for financial documents is submitted accordingly.
Analyze previous and projected data to generate an accurate re-forecast.
Responsible for ensuring that the accounts receivable are current.
Ensure that all associates receive fair and equitable treatment according to company standards.
Motivate, coach, counsel and discipline all personnel. Ensure that all employees receive fair and equitable treatment according to company standards.
Perform additional duties as requested by the Owner Operator.
