Under the direction of the Director of Care, the LPN is responsible for the effective and efficient operation of the nursing department. The LPN actively participates in the nursing process by assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the specific needs of the residents as individuals, ensuring current gerontological practice.
Qualifications
1. Must be a graduate of an accredited nursing program.
2. Must be currently registered with CRNNS.
3. Must have current first aid and CPR certification.
4. Previous nursing experience is an asset.
5. Must demonstrate interest and ability in leadership role, evaluating daily care, coaching, and assisting staff with care activities and coordinating plans of care.
6. Must demonstrate effective communication skills, both oral and written and computer literacy
7. Display excellent physical assessment skills and decision-making ability.
Schedule: days, nights, holidays, weekends
Rate of Pay: (As per the collective agreement)
