Reporting to the Shift Manager, the Operations Coordinator is a entry level leader who supports and supervises staff to ensure accurate selection of product to all stores and affiliates. Actively contributes to a positive, productive and safe working environment. This is a Temporary position and work is located in Rocky View County (260199 High Plains Blvd)

Here\'s where you\'ll be focusing:

  • Make real-time decisions via the computer system to allocate work and staff in the most effective manner
  • Constantly seek improvements and innovations to optimize productivity and performance
  • Take part in training of employees
  • Receive calls from staff regarding absences
  • Call on unionized employees for overtime
  • Perform daily inventory of pallets
  • Create new operators in the voice system and manage equipment by connecting employees to the system
  • Check the pace of assembly, schedule staff breaks and ensure that shifts begin and end on time
  • Ensure the replenishment of supplies when cases are missing for selection
  • Ensure other leads know which pallets to load and prepare delivery slips
Here\'s what is required:
  • College diploma plus two (2) years\' experience in Retail Support Centre (combination of education and experience deemed equivalent will be considered)
  • Able to bend, twist, lift and carry weights up to 50 lbs
  • Sitting and standing for prolonged periods of time
  • Proficiency with various computer tools related to operations as well as Microsoft Office suite
  • Manages time and priorities effectively and maintains composure in stressful situations
  • Available to work various shift start times including days, evenings, nights and weekends
