Overview

We are seeking dedicated and detail-oriented Bindery Workers to join our team for our late season student planner project. The ideal candidates will play a crucial role in the finishing process of printed materials, ensuring that all products meet quality standards and are prepared for distribution. This position requires a good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

Operate bindery equipment such as collators, punches, coiling machines to prepare printed materials for final production. Hand assemble custom printed pieces as needed for up to 7.5 hours per day. Perform quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet specifications and standards. Assist in the setup and maintenance of bindery machines, troubleshooting any mechanical issues as they arise. Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines while maintaining high-quality output. Package finished products for shipment, ensuring proper handling and labeling and ability to lift up to 50lb boxes. Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.

Skills

Experience in manufacturing processes, particularly in a bindery or print environment is a plus, however no prior experience is needed. Familiarity with packaging techniques and standards for various types of printed materials. Able to stand for long periods of time. Strong Time management skills is required.

Pay: $15.80 per hour

Expected hours: 1 - 40 per week
