We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Temporary Assistant Director and Early Childhood Education (ECE) professional to lead and support our early childhood programs. In this role, you will oversee daily operations, ensure compliance with regulatory standards, and foster a nurturing environment that promotes the growth and development of young learners. Your leadership will be instrumental in coordinating curriculum implementation, managing staff, and maintaining effective communication with families and community partners. Duties
Provide leadership and oversight for early childhood education programs, ensuring alignment with state and federal regulations as well as organizational standards.
Develop, implement, and evaluate curriculum plans that promote cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development for young children.
Manage program budgets, monitor expenditures, and allocate resources efficiently to support program goals.
Supervise teaching staff by providing mentorship, conducting performance evaluations, and facilitating professional development opportunities.
Coordinate with families to communicate program policies, address concerns, and foster positive relationships that support children's learning experiences.
Collaborate with community partners and educational agencies to enhance program offerings and ensure compliance with licensing requirements.
Lead strategic planning initiatives aimed at program improvement, expansion, or innovation within the early childhood education sector.
Skills
Level III or equivalent education/ work experience
Strong strategic planning abilities to develop long-term goals aligned with organizational mission.
Expertise in budgeting to manage financial resources effectively while maintaining high-quality programming.
Proven management skills to lead teams, oversee daily operations, and ensure staff accountability.
Extensive experience in education administration within early childhood settings
Demonstrated leadership capabilities to inspire staff, engage stakeholders, and foster a collaborative work environment.
Background in university experience or higher education settings related to early childhood education or teaching roles.
Excellent teaching skills combined with a deep understanding of curriculum development and child development principles.
