Edmonton Nut & Bolt is a one-stop shop for fastener and industrial supply needs. We are currently hiring for a
part-time or full-time, temporary
Admin/Accounting Assistant at our South Edmonton location. This position will assist with reception relief, accounting duties and other office administration duties, as needed.
This position is in-person only, Monday to Friday between 8:00am-5:00pm (30-40 hours per week). This is a temporary contract for 12-18 months, with the possibility of extension.
Duties:
Perform basic bookkeeping tasks; process payables/complete A/R deposits for branches
Provide reception coverage as needed
Create and proof forms, labels, correspondence as needed
Maintain database of all vehicle, building, and forklift maintenance for all branches
Participate in special projects as assigned by manager
Other duties as assigned by manager
Skills:
High school diploma required; post-secondary education is an asset
Minimum one (1) year of administrative experience
Proficient in Microsoft Office with strong computer skills
Experience with accounts payable and receivable
Proven ability to analyze information and solve problems
Excellent communication skills and ability to interact with a variety of stakeholders
Familiarity with warehouse procedures is considered an asset
Reliable and adaptable team player with a strong sense of initiative
Must be a legally entitled to work in Canada for any employer at the time of application. We are unable to offer sponsorship at this time.
