he Learning Developer will design and develop learning assets for instructor-led, self-directed, eLearning, web, and multi-media products to meet the organization?s strategic learning needs. In addition, the Learning Developer will analyze, design and develop adult learning based on best practice using a variety of media platforms. Working with a broad range of staff and physicians, the Learning Developer will also assist users with process evaluation and recommendations for further efficiencies where appropriate. The Learning Developer will strive to continuously improve the learning offerings and advance the technological capabilities of the organization
The role is also engaged in the facilitation and delivery of workshops and programs.
Rate of Pay: $31.48 per hour - $39.35 per hour
Status: Tempoary Full-Time
Hours of work: 37.5 hours per week
Qualifications
Successful completion of a Undergraduate Degree in Adult Education or a related field acceptable to Hospital
Minimum three (3) years of recent relevant experience
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft 365 solutions, including Microsoft Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint and the Power Platform
Demonstrated knowledge of fundamentals of adult learning theories, delivery channels and learning interventions of instructional design theory and application of research and theory to the practice of instructional design and development of Learning
Advanced technical competence in the areas of graphic and multimedia authoring software for the purposes of course and curriculum design
Experience with designing and developing learning assets that reflect an understanding of the diversity of learners and groups of learners
Competency in graphic and multimedia e-learning rapid authoring tools in the creation of e-learning (i.e. Articulate, Storyline) to create interactive SCORM compliant web-based training products
Familiar with project management and quality assurance review cycles
Advanced Microsoft Office Suite skills
Experience designing electronic heath record training related materials
Proficient facilitation, presentation, and teaching skills
Demonstrated practice and commitment to the principles of patient and family centered care
Demonstrated practice and commitment to patient and staff safety at LHSC
Demonstrated practice and commitment to LHSC?s Mission, Vision and Values
Demonstrated ability to attend work on a regular basis
Immunization Requirements:
Provide vaccination records or proof of immunity against measles, mumps, rubella and varicella (chicken pox), Hepatitis B, Tetanus/ Diphtheria/Polio; Meningitis.
Provide documentation of the Tuberculosis skin testing (two step) and COVID vaccine series.
