with occasional

Telehandler Operation

responsibilities for a busy waste transfer station. This is a physically demanding role in an industrial environment, ideal for individuals who are reliable, safety-conscious, and ready to work in a fast-paced setting.

Breakdown of Duties:

80% General Labour 20% Telehandler Operation

Responsibilities:

General Labour (80%)

Manual sorting and handling of waste and recyclable materials Cleaning and maintaining work areas Assisting with site operations and supporting operators Following safety protocols at all times

Telehandler Operation (20%)

Safely operating a telehandler to move and load materials Conducting daily equipment checks Assisting with bin/container placement and loading Following site supervisor instructions and MTO safety standards

Requirements:

Valid

Telehandler Operator certification

(required) Previous experience in waste/recycling or heavy labour preferred Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors/in dusty environments CSA-approved safety boots required Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods Punctual and dependable with a strong work ethic
Job Type: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 2 months

Pay: $24.00-$28.00 per hour

Experience:

Telehandler: 2 years (required) General labour: 3 years (preferred)
Work Location: In person
