Job Description

Responsibilities:

- Install, maintain, and repair telecommunications systems, including network infrastructure, WAN connections, and low voltage cabling.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with telephone systems and equipment.
- Perform electrical work related to telecommunications systems, such as wiring and grounding.
- Operate bucket trucks for aerial installations and repairs.
- Conduct tests and inspections to ensure proper functioning of telecommunications equipment.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects and meet deadlines.
- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines while working on job sites.

Experience:

- Previous experience as a Telecommunications Technician or in a related field is preferred.
- Proficiency in using forklifts and bucket trucks for installations and repairs.
- Knowledge of network infrastructure and telecommunications systems.
- Familiarity with low voltage cabling and electrical work.
- Ability to weld or perform other necessary tasks for telecommunications installations.
- Strong problem-solving skills to troubleshoot issues with telephone systems.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively telecommunicate with team members and clients.
