Join our growing team at Infrapro Communications Ltd. as a Telecommunications General Laborer. Experience is an asset but not a requirement.

The successful candidate should possess the following:

Knowledge & Experience:

• MUST HAVE valid BC class 5 driver's license
• Good physical condition
• Willing to work outdoors in various weather conditions
• Ability to work in confined spaces
• Mechanically inclined
• Ability to do fine, precise work with their hands
• Safety minded
• Authorized to work in Canada
• Fluent in English (reading, writing and conversational)
• Maintain a professional working relationship with co-workers and clients
• Must be reliable, trustworthy and have a positive attitude

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Installing underground and aerial fibre drops for residential housing and businesses.
• Placing buried conduits by hand trenching and Hydrovac operations.
• Termination and routing of fibre optic cable.
• Conduct Optical Power Meter testing of fiber connections.
• Confined space work as needed.
• Remediating Landscaping sites.
• Use ladders or bucket trucks to access aerial locations.
• Trouble shoot technical issues swiftly and accurately.
• Maintain Company Vehicles to ensure good working condition and cleanliness.
• Adhere to and promote the environmental, health & safety policies of Infrapro.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00-$26.00 per hour

Additional pay:

• Overtime pay

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• Overtime
• Weekends as needed
