Junior Finance & Vendor Operations Coordinator to help manage the cost tracking and vendor coordination behind our fast-moving field operations.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a behind-the-scenes capacity -- someone who understands that every invoice, purchase order, and vendor relationship contributes to the big picture.

What You'll Do



As a key member of the Field Support Services team, you'll support vendor-related financial workflows, cost tracking, and communication. You'll work cross-functionally to ensure that our suppliers, contractors, and third-party partners are accurately tracked, billed, and supported -- helping ensure TELUS delivers on time and on budget.

Key Responsibilities



Track and validate vendor invoices, ensuring accuracy, proper documentation, and timely submission for payment Assist in coding and processing telecom-related expenses such as contractor labor, cabling, installation hardware, and site rentals Maintain up-to-date records of vendor purchase orders, work orders, and change requests Reconcile discrepancies between field activity reports and vendor billing Monitor and flag cost overruns, duplicate charges, or unapproved expenditures for review Support the month-end close process by preparing vendor accruals and summaries for active projects Help onboard new vendors into internal systems and ensure proper documentation and approval flow Work closely with Finance, Procurement, and Field Operations teams to align costs to projects and budgets Generate recurring reports on vendor spend, contract utilization, and field cost trends Serve as a key point of contact for vendor queries related to payments, approvals, and deliverables

What You Bring



A diploma or bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Supply Chain, or a related field 1-2 years of experience in finance support, vendor administration, or operations coordination Strong Excel or Google Sheets capabilities (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, basic cost modeling) High attention to detail with a natural ability to spot inconsistencies or errors Experience working with invoicing systems, procurement platforms, or accounting software (SAP, NetSuite, QuickBooks, or similar is a plus) Clear and professional communication skills, especially when working with vendors or external partners A collaborative mindset and eagerness to learn how financial operations support large-scale service delivery
