Job Description
TeraSpan Networks Inc is a full-service telecommunications contractor with operations throughout British Columbia. We are currently recruiting for a Telecom Installation Tech to join our team.
At TeraSpan, you will be a key member of a network deployment and maintenance team and you have opportunities for training in all facets of telecommunications network construction.
Primary responsibilities are as follows:
Cable placement OSP- Outside plant aerial and underground telecommunications cable installation (copper and fiber) Cable placement ISP - In-builting / on-premise fibre optic cable placement Cable splicing / terminations - both in-building and outside plant
Preference will be given to candidates with any of the following (please mention when applying):
1 years of telecom construction experience Spur climbing training and experience
Required qualifications:
Grade 12 or equivalent required Clean 5 drivers license Ability to lift 60lbs Ability to work at heights Ability to travel within BC as required Positive attitude and willingness to learn
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
