About the Role



As a

Technology Support Associate

, you'll play a key part in maintaining the performance, reliability, and security of our technology solutions. You'll provide hands-on support to clients and internal teams, ensuring that all systems -- from hardware components to software applications -- run smoothly and efficiently.

This role is perfect for someone who loves technology, thrives in fast-paced environments, and enjoys finding practical solutions to technical challenges.

Key Responsibilities



Provide technical support to clients and team members for hardware, software, and network-related issues. Monitor and maintain equipment including terminals, sensors, and control systems. Perform system installations, updates, and troubleshooting in the field or remotely. Collaborate with engineers and IT teams to optimize system performance and reduce downtime. Maintain clear documentation of service requests, resolutions, and maintenance logs. Support rollout of new technologies and process improvements. Ensure data integrity, system security, and compliance with operational standards. Deliver excellent customer service with a problem-solving mindset.

Qualifications



1-3 years of experience in IT support, technical assistance, or system operations. Proficient in Windows operating systems and basic networking (TCP/IP, routers, switches). Strong understanding of hardware configuration and diagnostics. Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and system schematics. Excellent troubleshooting, organizational, and time management skills. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Diploma or degree in Information Technology, Computer Systems, or a related field preferred. Valid driver's license and ability to travel within the Greater Toronto Area occasionally.
