The NRRM is looking for an experienced and motivated professional to join our
IT Team
. Reporting to the
Director of
Corporate Services
, the
Technology Services Manager
is responsible for all aspects of information technology services. This includes managing GIS, application services, technical and client support, information and data security, project management, and administrative functions.
In this role, you will provide leadership and management of the NRRM's IT and GIS systems and infrastructure. You will lead the IT team to achieve organizational goals and connect IT and GIS services within the department and across the organization.
This role is essential in ensuring that IT and GIS services align with municipal objectives and support effective service delivery.
Candidates should have post-secondary education focused on Information Technology, Computing Science/GIS or a related field OR an equivalent combination of training and experience. A minimum of six years' of progressive professional and leadership experience in a senior IT/GIS role. Geographic Information Systems (GIS) Certification. Possession of, or willing to obtain, an IT Systems Security Certification (e.g. COBIT 5), and Box Certified Professional/ Intelligent Content Management Certification. High proficiency with computers and applications--including Microsoft Office programs like Word and Excel--as well as familiarity with municipal systems is necessary. Employment will be contingent upon the successful completion of a Police Information Check.
