Location(s): Toronto Remote

Requires specialized depth and breadth of expertise in own job discipline - typically considered as a product subject matter expert within area of technical specialty. Leads others in solving complex problems; uses sophisticated analytical thought to exercise judgement and identify innovative solutions. Works independently, may lead project teams; use specialized skills to work on assignment with high levels of risk or complexity. Impacts the achievement of customer, operational, project or service goals

• Lead the development of complex technical solutions / projects considering the enterprise view of the product lifecycle and support and operation services.
• Develop system solution design by analyzing data, latest tools and techniques to determine the best solution to meet requirements; focus on the analysis of the technical requirements for the delivery of the project
• Interface with internal stakeholders to define requirements, define delivery schedules, and report on issues, resolutions, project and platform delivery progress in a timely manner
• Provide input on discussions regarding the overall technical solution architecture in consideration of the broader Moneris requirements
• Provide input in meetings to review the platform roadmap
• Develop and support technical requirements documentation (assisted by technical writers); interface with QA and certification teams for addressing issues raised in the QA and certification process where applicable

Must-have...

• Bachelor's degree required or equivalent work experience
• Minimum 3 years of experience working in developing and delivering technical solutions
• Full proficiency in project life cycle steps of initiation, planning, execution, project closure with an emphasis on technical analysis
• Experience with Azure
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams
• Highly proficient in engaging/influencing audiences, building relationships, to achieve broader organizational goals.

Nice-to-have...

• Proficiency in payment systems and the merchant acquiring business

Our Product and Partnership team consists of four functions: Client Solutions, Products, Third Party Acquiring & Partnerships, and Strategy and Corporate Development. We oversee the ongoing evolution of Moneris' product portfolio, lead the strategy and development of merchant payment solutions and partnerships. We ensure to always keep up-to-date on emerging trends in the market and jump on opportunities to provide our merchants with the best enhancements to make their businesses succeed.
