Job Description

Infosys is seeking a Python Developer. This position will interface with key stakeholders and apply technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle including Requirements Elicitation, Application Architecture definition and Design; play an important role in creating the high-level design artifacts; deliver high quality code deliverables for a module, lead validation for all types of testing and support activities related to implementation, transition and warranty. • Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Montreal, Quebec or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel.
• Bachelor\'s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
• At least 4 years of Information Technology experience.

Preferred Qualification :\xc2\xb7 At least 6 or more years of total IT experience with good exposure to lead a small size team. Should have experience with of ensuring quality and timeliness of implementation of activities related to design, build and implementation of work product; participate in activities related to requirements elicitation, validation of architecture, creation and review of design; assign and review tasks for work product implementation.\xc2\xb7 At least 2-3 experience in Python skills to design, develop, implement, and enhance applications. Advance Python hands-on experience with Microservices framework is definitely an added advantage.\xc2\xb7 At least 2-3 years of experience in any of scripting languages JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Angular etc.\xc2\xb7 At least 2-3 years of experience in Agile. Knowledge of ceremonies.\xc2\xb7 No-SQL database experience in Mongo DB.\xc2\xb7 Experience and knowledge of at least one of the following Document based No-SQL DBs - MongoDB.\xc2\xb7 Good knowledge about CI/CD Azure DevOps Pipelines.\xc2\xb7 Additionally, knowledge of following technologies would be an advantage: Kafka, REST, Jira, Confluence, GCP/Anthos/Kubernetes with Docker containers. The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email, or face to face. Extensive travel may be required as per client and project needs.
