Job Description


Critical Mass is seeking a full time Technology Lead to work as an architect, technical strategist, systems integrator and technical team manager within our cutting-edge creative automation team for our EMEA markets. Critical Mass delivers a next-gen suite of services for our clients, utilizing DCO (dynamic creative optimization) to deliver creative engineering, intelligent automation, and technology expertise with a highly scaled operational model for our clients.

You will:

  • Be a Technology leader for CM\'s creative automation service offering globally
  • Architect, scope, and lead the implementation of integrations to scale the production process
  • Drive content automation innovations using the latest AI innovations both external and internal
  • Advise on and perform system integrations with martech platforms, including: CDPs, DAMs, CMPs, DCOs, MRMs, Ad Servers, DSPs, etc. for our clients
  • Analyze, appraise and recommend solutions based upon the existing client technology landscape and business goals, key technologies, vendors, etc. utilizing the latest innovations from the industry and within our own company
  • Participate in organic growth and new business opportunities as it relates to dynamic content, creative automation, and content management solutions
  • Advise on asset management best practices, including asset labeling, archiving, and assigning categorical metadata
  • Oversee and mentor a team of supporting technology resources
  • Lead remote teams globally utilizing modern communication tools
You have:
  • Experience with marketing technology in paid and owned advertising (CMS, DAM, CMP, DCO, MRM, Ad Serving, DSP, Analytics, Business Intelligence, Marketing Science, Data Engineering, Machine Learning, and Artificial Intelligence)
  • Experience working with content and design teams bringing digital design systems to life
  • Experience leading technical developers, either FEDs or BEDs, using a modern SFDLC (e.g., Agile via Scrum)
  • Self motivated, self starter able to understand business and team objectives, and see them through execution
  • Ability to convey recommendations clearly via documentation, presentation, and discussion
  • Experience with leading a distributed, remote team utilizing modern communication tools
  • Strong communication skills - both written and verbal
  • Ability to provide accurate estimates for work and contribute to casting and staffing decisions
  • Ability to communicate with clients daily, acting as a representative of Critical Mass from a technical & business development standpoint
Nice to have:
  • Knowledge of modern web-stacks and their applications in the real world, especially modern front-end tools and framework, e.g., React, HTML5
  • Experience with 3D rendering technology and production methodologies
  • Familiarity with Atlassian project management tools, i.e. Jira & Confluence
