We are looking for someone to manage and coordinate technology tasks portfolio of projects and lead a team of ambitious technology professionals that support the delivery of the Anti-Money Laundering reg reporting platform and solutions. You will also have the opportunity to provide technical guidance and leadership beyond your immediate team on significant strategic initiatives to modernize the technology and capabilities to align with the portfolio and enterprise technology roadmaps.
The primary responsibility of our team is to design, develop and maintain the technology platform that processes the banks customers transactions and regulatory reporting . The open role is for a person who is familiar with AML and is capable to lead all aspects of AML technology project delivery. The role will require that the person collaborates with the larger stakeholders across the bank, Data delivery teams, program delivery, testing teams, business sponsors and infrastructure teams to ensure the smooth delivery of AML technology.

• Responsible for management of the project activities for all technology teams including design, development, business analysts, testing, and infrastructure teams.
• Experience in leading projects with Java technologies (J2EE/Rest APIs/Spring Boot/Kafka) with web-based application architectures and frameworks
• Skill in managing partners and stakeholders to ensure technical solutions meet strategic direction, business and technical requirements, budget, scalability and architectural goals with risks and impacts considered.
• Coordinate development, delivery activities with the various technology teams to build environments, new solutions, and support all escalated incidents and defects.
• Manage day-to-day vendor relationships (e.g. Navaera) for technical delivery related activities; ensure timely/accurate communication and resolution of issues.
• Work with technology partners/program team to create project schedule, monitor the progress, resource forecasting, vendor relationship management etc. responsible to ensure that the project is getting delivered within schedule and budget.
• Responsible for planning resources, project delivery and ensure no risk to the project delivery due to various constraints.
• Oversee the integration of all systems, projects, and technical interfaces to ensure a high level of service and support to the client and efficient system operation.
• Promote a culture of productivity, innovation, improvement, teamwork, and professionalism.
• Provide coaching, development, succession, recruitment, resource management, and overall team leadership for team members and provide regular input into team members' assessment of performance and development plans.
• Act as an escalation point for all technology risks and issues affecting projects, implement mitigation strategies.
• Responsible for delivering in line with financial forecast and achieving benefits targets as defined for Application Delivery teams.
• Identify all development related project dependencies and risks and ensure mitigation/contingency plans are in place for identified risks.

Job Requirements:

• University degree, preferably in technology/ engineering.
• Demonstrated experience with AML technology regulatory reporting platform, Financial Crime and Compliance Management (FCCM) is a very strong preference.
• Strong knowledge of AML and the associated regulatory reporting needs.
• Minimum of 6 years of in-depth experience working with technology development, testing and infrastructure to delivery complex technology projects.
• Strong knowledge of banking systems and AML platforms, regulatory reporting systems.
• Strong understanding of technology project delivery, project management and financial management of projects.
• Excellent planning and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to lead teams including experience of managing vendor teams.
• Strong interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to forge strong relationships with key business partners, understand financial markets and regulation and apply analytics to drive commercial value.
