A senior, cross-functional technical lead supporting integrated clinical workflows (Medical Imaging, Radiation Therapy, non-Cerner electronic medical records (EMR), Cardiology, Pulmonary, Point of Care Ultrasound (POCUS)) with a strong focus on systems integration, vendor management, and team mentorship. This role combines business analysis, technical leadership, architecture planning, and strategic coordination across the enterprise solutions landscape.

Qualifications

College Diploma in Computer Science, Health Informatics, or Medical Imaging
University Degree preferred
Minimum five (5) to seven (7) years' current experience in a Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS) environment with advanced Digital Imaging Communications in Medicine (DICOM) and Health Level 7 (HL7) system integration
Expert integration, dataflow, interoperability (Health Level 7 (HL7), Digital Imaging Communications in Medicine (DICOM), Fast Healthcare Interoperability Resources (FHIR)) and system architecture
Advanced diagnostic and resolutions skills across multiple supported clinical systems
Strong skills in process-centric thinking
Workgroup facilitation skills
Ability to manage multiple competing priorities and projects
Demonstrated ability to apply analytical skills to requirements gathering, problem identification, solving & solution mapping
Demonstrated experience developing and implementing clinical, business and systems process re-design
Demonstrated ability to research and assimilate a large quantity of technical information into practical solutions
Ability to lead and provide guidance to cross functional teams and mentoring
Ability to work with leadership at all levels to implement both strategic and operational change
Excellent change management, customer service, and organizational skills
Superior written, oral, presentation, documentation of architect and procedures and listening communication skills
Primary liaison with internal stakeholders, vendors, and partners for clinical system initiative
Recent work with cross-functional teams to support medium and large-scale implementations preferred
Understanding of Personal Health Information Protection Act (PHIPA), privacy, cybersecurity, and clinical safety considerations preferred
Demonstrated practice and commitment to the principles of patient and family centered care
