Maplesoft Group is currently seeking a Technology Architect - Mobile Cyber Range for our Federal Government client.



Tasks and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:



1 Research, investigate and recommend appropriate target mobile infrastructure for

acquisition including mobile devices, mobile test equipment, mobile device

simulators/emulators, and carrier grade cellular base station equipment and technologies;

2 Integrate, support, maintain and manage all equipment and technologies within the multi-caveated lab including Unclassified to Top Secret;

3 Recommend, establish, and maintain RF isolation chamber (Faraday cage(s))

environments for Unclassified, Secret and Top Secret;

4 Architect, design and implement a security training sandbox environment within each

classification domains and caveats;

5 Provide infrastructure support for Cyber Training exercises such as the Five Eyes Cyber

Flag, CyberX and CAFCOSO initiatives;

6 Integrate content into in-house developed "Capture the Flag" (CTF) cyber

testing scenarios;

7 Develop, implement, and maintain solutions in accordance with the Mobile Cyber Range

business requirements;

8 Design, support and integrate both physical and virtual mobile devices and carrier grade

infrastructure;

9 Develop a strategy for mobile range creation of both domestic and international wireless

standards and instrumentation. This strategy must include instrumentation of the

Terrestrial Radio Access Network (RAN), Authentication and Access network components,

Mobile Packet Core Network, and carrier packet data gateway interfaces;

10 Design, support and integrate physical or virtual cellular networks, including 2g, 3g, 4g,

and 5g as well as both domestic and international protocols sub-variants;

11 Provide support for multiple security levels and caveats;

12 Identify gaps in the existing mobile SEV capability, services, technologies, capabilities,

and tools;

13 Monitor mobiles devices to identify and optimize the mobile range infrastructure;

14 Perform impact analysis on changes to mobiles devices and supporting infrastructure

configurations;

15 Evaluate and recommend new technologies to enhance current capabilities;

16 Support and configure complex CTF and training exercises with a mobile centric content

focusing on Android and IOS;

17 Maintaining/updating procedures and processes, documentation, configuration diagrams

and spreadsheets;

18 Deploy and support testing targets in accordance with existing enterprise

architecture to apply context;

19 Support and implement traffic generation tools to develop a baseline traffic profile to serve

as cover traffic to malicious activities;

20 Develop and maintain a Disaster Recovery Plan (DRP) for the mobile range;

21 Develop, configure and maintain 100+ mobiles devices, cellular networks and virtual

infrastructure for training and exercises;

22 Support an architecture and framework for "Blue Team" engineering, testing and training

initiatives; and

23 Provide information, direction and support for emerging mobile technologies.
