Job Description

For our client, Department of National Defence, we are looking for an Operational Processing, Exploitation and Dissemination (PED) SME, who will provide support to Joint Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (JISR) capability development and offer analytical support as an Imagery Analyst (IA), Full Motion Imagery (FMV), and/or Motion Imagery Interpreter (MII).

Mandatory Qualifications

The proposed resource

must

meet the following criteria (Senior Special Advisor level):

MC-1Education:

A degree from a Canadian university in Science/Engineering/IT,

OR

a diploma from a Canadian college in Science/Engineering/IT,

OR

any other Canadian degree/diploma with at least 36 months of IT experience and a certification in VMware or Microsoft Certified System Engineer (Microsoft Windows NT and higher). Certification in Motion Imagery Intelligence Analysis and Collateral Damage Assessment is also required.

MC-2C2ISR/JISR/Targeting Experience:

Minimum of

24 months of experience

in the last

6 years

analyzing, developing, and implementing for C2ISR, JISR, and targeting trials, evaluations, experiments, and exercises, including summaries of findings and recommendations for PED development. Experience must include CAF and Allied/NATO exercises.

MC-3Network Experience (Desirable):

Should have experience working with CAF/DND or Government of Canada networks.

GEOINT/PED Analysis:

Minimum of

24 months of experience

in the last

3 years

performing GEOINT and PED analysis and delivering comprehensive intelligence reports, summaries, and targeting packages integrating single-source PED products. Experience with SOCET GXP, MAAS, SC2PS, and ESRI products is required.

Sensor/System Assessment:

Minimum of

24 months of experience

in the last

3 years

assessing sensor capabilities, targeting systems, and JISR platforms, and developing a detailed report providing recommendations for improving system integration and operational design.

Software Testing:

Minimum of

24 months of experience

in the last

3 years

performing software prototype testing and integration

Job Type: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 24 months

Pay: $150.00-$200.00 per hour

Expected hours: 37.5 per week
