We are seeking a Technology Analyst Student for our North American Headquarters (NAHQ) district, within our Canadian Buildings Division that is available for 8 months starting in May 2023. This is an in-person opportunity located in our Edmonton office.
As a Technology Analyst Student, you will have the opportunity to contribute to our team by:

Responsibilities

• Assists in the implementation of a project management software
• Assists in application configuration and development as per business requirements
• Assists in data migration and maintaining data integrity
• Assists in the development of software
• Documents business processes, application configuration and design, test cases and training material
• Assists in executing test cases for application releases
• Assists in supporting and maintaining business application
• Gathers feedback from key project stakeholders
• Works in collaboration with team members, as well as completing individual work
• Gains exposure to cutting edge technology, including Microsoft Azure services and Power BI

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a management information systems program, an information technology or computer engineering program, or an operations management program.
• Have good understanding of software development lifecycle
• Have good understanding of relational databases and knowledge of SQL
• Have good understanding of software development, with exposure to C#, Python, Java, or Java Script
• Experience in the Microsoft Office suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Expertise in MS Excel to manipulate data using macros, pivot tables and various functions such as MATCH, INDEX, CONCATENATE, COUNT, etc.
• Ability to communicate with people at all levels in the organization
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
