Artas Engineering & Design Inc. is an engineering consulting firm with an office located in Stratford, Ontario. Established in 2022, our team provides expert services in the fields of structural engineering, building science, project management, BIM modelling, and more across southwestern Ontario. We take a team approach to everything we do; both internally, and with our clients. As a result, we remain on a path of continual growth!

We are looking for a motivated team player to join us, and fill the role of Technologist.

Responsibilities:

Supervised production of working drawings using Revit. AutoCAD support may also be required. Complete redline markup drawings. Convert 2D AutoCAD details into Revit drafting views. Assist the CAD/ BIM Lead in family/ detail component development. Coordinate with Engineering team as required. Assist in the supervised preparation of project specifications. Perform site visits and assist with the production of written reports in a supervised environment on behalf of project engineers. Assist with the completion of on-site measurements. Other related duties, as assigned.

Qualifications/Skills:

Education Level - Minimum Requirement: College Diploma in Architectural Technology or equivalent. 5 years previous full-time work experience.
To perform this role successfully, the selected Individual will need to have proficiency, or be prepared to gain proficiency in the following:

Revit Architecture/ Structure AutoCAD Bluebeam Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) A good working knowledge of the Ontario Building code is preferred. Rendering skills an asset.
The individual we are seeking is an effective team member with excellent organizational and time management skills, being self-motivated, hardworking and flexible, dependable, and able to work independently and under pressure, to meet deadlines.

Work to be completed on site in our Stratford office. This is not a remote role.
