We are also a leading supplier of uranium refining, conversion, and fuel manufacturing services from our operations in Ontario.The RolealphaNUCLEAR is a wholly owned subsidiary of Cameco that supplies, repairs and calibrates specialized equipment used in uranium exploration, mining and milling for detection and measurement of radiation and radon gas.In this role, you will:

  • Be responsible for fabrication, repair and calibration of products supplied and serviced by alphaNUCLEAR
  • Have demonstrated knowledge of electronics systems and an ability to make repairs and modifications to these systems
  • Troubleshoot and repair small electro-mechanical and air sampling devices
  • Design and fabrication of electronic systems, including PCB and electronic system design
  • Demonstrate commitment to safety and to a high quality of work
  • Data communication circuitry, data logging equipment and battery power systems
Required:
  • Diploma in electronics or instrumentation
  • 0 - 3 years of applicable experience with small electronic and electro-mechanical equipment. Equivalent combination of education and work experience considered
Recommended:
  • Knowledge of radiation and radiation physics
  • New graduates from the technologist program will be considered.
