Le technicien de terrain sera l'expert de l'entreprise sur le site d'intervention. Ce role implique la mise en service, la reparation et la maintenance preventive de nos equipements de deshumidification de classe mondiale pour les espaces de piscines. Le technicien representera notre marque et respectera les normes les plus elevees afin d'assurer la satisfaction complete du client, tout en adherant aux valeurs de l'entreprise.

1. Responsabilites et taches principales :



Taches techniques :



Valider et mettre a jour les coordonnees de l'utilisateur final a l'arrivee sur le site. Effectuer la mise en service, les reparations et la maintenance preventive des equipements sur site selon les besoins. Inspecter les equipements et effectuer les ajustements mineurs necessaires. Reparer ou remplacer les pieces usees ou defectueuses. Realiser les actions de maintenance recommandees pour ameliorer la performance du systeme. Effectuer des tests de performance a l'aide d'outils specialises et ajuster les parametres du systeme en consequence. Completer les formulaires de rapport requis, incluant les donnees operationnelles et du site, ainsi que les photographies necessaires. Fournir une formation au personnel de maintenance sur site a la demande du proprietaire. Preparer les rapports et documents associes pour les televerser dans FieldPoint et les transmettre au representant commercial externe. Communiquer efficacement avec les clients. Solliciter l'aide des gestionnaires de service pour des conseils techniques ou pour resoudre les defis rencontres sur le site si necessaire.

Taches non techniques :



Adopter et demontrer notre approche client dans toutes les taches Faire preuve d'un comportement professionnel tout en gardant a l'esprit les interets de l'entreprise. Documenter de maniere proactive les risques et problemes sur le site et accelerer leur resolution pour limiter les travaux sous garantie ou de reparation, soit de maniere autonome, soit en coordination avec le gestionnaire de service. Etablir et maintenir des relations de travail efficaces avec les parties prenantes sur le site (utilisateur final, ingenieurs, entrepreneurs installateurs, etc.). Soumettre tous les rapports requis selon les activites assignees, y compris les rapports de depenses. Participer a des formations administratives et sur diverses applications bureautiques a distance selon les besoins. Participer aux reunions de revue et fournir des retours du terrain pour une amelioration continue. Rester engage pendant les heures de travail regulieres en teletravail en assistant les autres membres de l'equipe ou les clients a distance.

2. Connaissances, competences et aptitudes :



Connaissance approfondie des produits CVC commerciaux, de la recuperation d'energie et du transfert thermique, ainsi que des principes psychrometriques. Comprehension fondamentale des systemes electriques et de controle, et capacite a lire des schemas de cablage. Maitrise de l'utilisation des outils manuels essentiels. Volonte de voyager regulierement pour des sejours de nuit du lundi au vendredi. Capacite a accepter des missions avec peu de preavis (1 a 2 semaines) et a travailler sous des delais stricts. Desir et volonte d'apprendre et de developper de nouvelles competences, processus et concepts pour evoluer au sein de l'entreprise. Capacite a gerer plusieurs priorites simultanement sans se sentir depasse. Creativite dans le developpement de solutions innovantes et presentation d'alternatives realisables face aux obstacles. Maitrise des applications informatiques, y compris Microsoft Office, navigation Internet et tout programme ERP. Excellentes competences en communication ecrite et orale pour des presentations a la direction. Capacite demontree a collaborer efficacement au sein d'une equipe multidisciplinaire, localement et a distance.

3. Formation et experience requises :



Minimum de 2 ans d'experience en systemes CVC et de controle OU toute combinaison equivalente d'experience et/ou de formation permettant d'acquerir des connaissances et competences comparables. 1 a 2 ans d'experience en conception, production ou service connexe est un atout, mais non obligatoire. Doit posseder un certificat/licence de recuperation de refrigerant section 608 avec l'EPA. Un certificat/licence de gaz est preferable, mais non obligatoire. Permis de conduire valide et dossier de conduite en regle requis Capacite a voyager entre les Etats-Unis et le Canada. Doit etre autonome et capable de rester engage en teletravail. Capacite a travailler de maniere autonome au bureau a domicile et sur le terrain. Certification OSHA10-30 preferable.

4. Exigences physiques :



Le technicien doit pouvoir s'asseoir, se tenir debout, utiliser ses mains pour manipuler, sentir et transporter des documents et produits regulierement. Cela inclut la gestion des hauteurs lors de la montee d'escaliers et d'echelles, conformement aux normes de l'industrie pour les techniciens de service CVC.

5. Deplacements requis :



Jusqu'a 80 % avec des sejours de nuit, plus 20 % de deplacements locaux lorsque possible dans la region de base. Cela inclut des projets avec des besoins essentiels pouvant survenir a court preavis.

Equivalent Industry Position/Title: HVAC Service Technician

Position Summary:

The Field Technician will be the company's expert on the job site. This role involves starting up, repairing, and performing preventative maintenance on our world-class dehumidification equipment for pool spaces. The technician will represent our brand and uphold the highest standards to ensure complete customer satisfaction while adhering to the company's values.

1. Primary Responsibilities and Duties:

Technical Duties:

Validate and update the end-user contact information on file upon arrival at the job site.

Conduct on-site equipment startup, repair work, and preventative maintenance as needed.

Inspect the equipment and make any necessary minor adjustments.

Repair or replace worn or defective parts.

Perform recommended maintenance actions to improve system performance.

Conduct performance tests using specialized tools and adjust system settings accordingly.

Complete the reporting forms as required, including operational and site data, as well as required photographs.

Provide training to on-site maintenance personnel as requested by the owner.

Prepare the reports and related documents for uploading to FieldPoint and forward them to our external sales representative.

Communicate effectively with clients and customers.

Seek support from the Service Managers for technical advice and assistance in resolving challenges on the job site if needed.

Non-technical Duties:

Must demonstrate and follow our company approach with our customers (Fanatical focus on the customer, Front line obsession, 'See it, Act on it, Own it') in all duties.

Demonstrate a professional attitude while keeping the company's interests in mind.

Document risks and issues proactively from jobsite and expedite resolution to mitigate warranty and repair work either independently or by coordinating with the Service Manager.

Establish and maintain effective working relationships with stakeholders on the job site (end user, engineers, installing contractors, etc.).

Deliver all required company reporting according to the assigned activity including expense reports.

Attend periodic administrative and various office applications training remotely as required.

Participate in review meetings and provide feedback from the field for continuous improvement.

Stay actively engaged during regular working hours while working from home by assisting other team members or customers remotely.

2. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

A comprehensive knowledge of commercial HVAC, energy recovery, and heat transfer product industries, along with an understanding of psychrometric fundamentals is needed.

A fundamental understanding of electrical and control systems, along with the ability to read wiring diagrams, is crucial.

Proficiency in using essential hand tools is necessary.

A willingness to travel for overnight trips from Monday through Friday regularly is a must.

The ability to accept assignments with little notice (1-2 weeks) and perform under strict deadlines is important.

A desire and willingness to learn and develop new skills, processes, and concepts for career advancement within the company are expected.

The ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously without feeling overwhelmed is key.

Creativity in developing innovative solutions to challenges and presenting feasible alternatives when faced with obstacles is valued.

Proficiency in computer applications, including Microsoft Office, internet use, and any ERP programs, is necessary.

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal for presenting to senior leadership is required.

Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team, both locally and remotely, is essential.

3. Education And Experience Qualifications:

Min. 2 yrs. of HVAC and Control Systems experience OR any equivalent combination of experience and/or education from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities have been achieved.

1-2 years of related design, production, or service experience will be advantageous, but not necessary.

Must have a valid Air Conditioning & Refrigerant section 608 recovery certificate/license with EPA.

Gas certificate/license will be preferred, but not necessary.

Must have a valid driver's license and a clean driving Record.

The ability to travel between US and Canada.

Must be self-driven and possess the ability to stay engaged in your remote work environment.

Must possess the ability to work autonomously in your remote office and in performing field work

OSHA10-30 preferred

4. Physical Requirements:

Technicians are required to sit, stand, and use their hands to touch, feel, and transport documents and products regularly. This is in accordance with industry standards for HVAC service technicians, which include managing heights while climbing stairs and ladders.

5. Travel Required:

Up to 80% with overnight stays, plus 20% local travel when feasible within the base location. This includes projects with occasional short notice of essential needs that may arise.
