Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Person to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in industrial maintenance and be proficient in various technical skills. This role is essential for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities and equipment, contributing to a safe and efficient work environment.

Duties

The Maintenance Person will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including but not limited to:

Performing routine maintenance on machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance. Troubleshooting and repairing programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and other automated systems. Utilizing Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for tracking maintenance activities and inventory. Conducting electrical repairs and installations, including low voltage systems. Maintaining HVAC systems to ensure proper climate control within facilities. Executing welding tasks as needed for repairs or modifications. Inspecting and maintaining boiler systems for safety and efficiency. Reading and interpreting schematics to diagnose issues accurately. Providing excellent customer service while interacting with internal teams and external vendors. Analyzing mechanical problems and implementing effective solutions.

Experience

Candidates should have the following qualifications:

Proven experience in industrial maintenance within a manufacturing environment. Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in maintenance tasks. Familiarity with electrical systems, including previous work as an industrial electrician. Proficiency in HVAC systems, welding techniques, and boiler operations is preferred. Excellent analytical skills to troubleshoot issues effectively. Ability to communicate clearly in English, both verbally and in writing.
