We are hiring for a Technician- Wheelchair and Mobility Equipment



Role Description:


We are seeking a motivated and skilled Wheelchair and Mobility Equipment Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, detail-oriented, and passionate about helping people. In this role, you will assemble, repair, and maintain mobility equipment to ensure safe and reliable use for our clients.

Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair manual and powered wheelchairs, scooters, lift chairs, walkers, and other mobility devices. Perform regular maintenance and safety checks on equipment. Assemble new equipment and customize products to client needs. Maintain accurate service records and documentation. Provide in-home and in-store service support as required. Deliver exceptional customer service and educate clients on equipment use and care. Ensure compliance with company standards and safety regulations. Ensure compliance with health and safety standards and regulatory requirements for mobility equipment. Maintain a high level of empathy and professionalism, especially with clients who may have complex mobility needs.

Qualifications:



Mechanical aptitude with experience in repairs, electronics, or related technical work (automotive, small engines, appliances, etc.). Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Ability to lift and move equipment (up to 75 pounds). Valid driver's license and clean driving record is an asset. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Organized, detail-oriented, and capable of multitasking. Self confident, friendly, and compassionate. Mature, patient and professional. Dependable and have a strong work ethic.

Compensation:



Competitive compensation based on experience.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $42,000.00-$50,000.00 per year
