Job Description

Western Kia is looking for an

Automotive Service Technician

to join our team.


They will ensure that our customers maximize the safety and lifespan of their vehicles and have a passion for all things automotive, taking pride in providing excellent service as part of a qualified team.

What You'll Do

Perform vehicle diagnostics to determine the adjustments, service, and repairs required. Follow standard operating procedures to complete scheduled maintenance. Document services completed, including condition, cause, and remedy.*
Review work orders and discuss work with the supervisor. Advise customers on work performed, general vehicle condition, and future repair requirements. Dispose of fluids and chemicals in accordance with health and safety and WHMIS guidelines. Coordinate with the Service Manager as required.

What You Bring

Post-secondary training as an Automotive Service Technician. Previous experience as a Kia technician is considered an asset. Team-oriented with the ability to work as part of a professional service team. Excellent communication skills to collaborate with the service team and Service Manager. Strong organization skills and a systematic approach to all aspects of the service process. A good work ethic and a positive attitude. A valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
