Job Summary
To perform routine maintenance and vendor supervision on material handling and logistics equipment at all Apotex Signet buildings.
Job Responsibilities

• To be knowledgeable of all related Apotex documentation. Perform all job functions as per Apotex safety and standard operating procedures.
• To be knowledgeable on the use of personal safety equipment.
• Perform minor maintenance to material handling and logistics equipment.
• Escort service vendors during preventive and corrective maintenance visits to all Signet campus sites.
• Maintain sufficient stock of consumable parts and maintenance supplies.
• Complete operational logs as assigned.
• Works in a safe manner collaborating as a team member to achieve all outcomes.
• Demonstrate Behaviours that exhibit our organizational Values: Collaboration, Courage, Perseverance, and Passion.
• Ensure personal adherence with all compliance programs including the Global Business Ethics and Compliance Program, Global Quality policies and procedures, Safety and Environment policies, and HR policies.
• All other relevant duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

• Education

• Grade 12 Secondary School Diploma or equivalent.
• An Ontario Stationary Engineering Certificate or trade certification in appropriate field would be an asset.
• Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Must have excellent interpersonal skills and a proven ability to communicate effectively and to work in a team environment.
• Must be able to read blueprints, sketches and specifications in order to repair, maintain or install to meet requirements.
• Experience

• Minimum of 2 years experience in material handling and logistics equipment
• operations, maintenance and repair.
