- Maintenance Technician

JOB DESCRIPTION

To ensure the effective maintenance, repair, and optimal operation of equipment, machinery, and facilities to minimize downtime, ensure safety, and support continuous production of cannabis.

Role Responsibilities:

Understanding of torque, slips and fits as related to precision machine assembly Experience in refurbishment of equipment and drivetrains Possess a keen attention to detail regarding machine operational characteristics Intermediate understanding of automation equipment operation and process Responsible to adhere to and maintain and promote a positive company culture. Troubleshoot to ensure uptime of equipment to meet production requirements. Read equipment manuals, drawings, and work orders to perform maintenance and service. Perform regular preventative maintenance on equipment. Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean orderly work areas. Comply with all GPP/GMP requirements when working on equipment. Completion of daily logs and check sheets ensuring detailed and accurate maintenance records including FIIX (CMMS software) Ability to prioritize multiple work streams. Must be a team player with ability to work and lead in a lightning-fast-paced environment with multi-functional groups. Comply with all company safety policies and standard operating procedures. Maintain a clean and safe work environment, including but not limited to sweeping, garbage removal, stocking of parts/equipment. Assist with installation of equipment, air lines, water lines or other production and greenhouse related components. Participate in Auxly lead learning and training initiatives. Other duties that the company may assign from time to time.

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent. 5+ years of experience in equipment maintenance, preferably in an agriculture or manufacturing setting. Experience using CMMS systems. Knowledge of HVAC, pumps, and high precision machinery Valid mechanic certificate an asset but not required.
