About The Role

The Technician, Instrumentation is responsible for performing routine maintenance and preventative maintenance on non-chromatographic laboratory and clinical equipment. Technician, Instrumentation also provides coaching and training for laboratory and clinic employees.

What You'll Do Here

• To perform calibration, routine and preventative maintenance of non-chromatographic laboratory and clinical equipment;A
• To perform troubleshooting and repair on non-chromatographic laboratory and clinical equipment;A
• Coaching and training of laboratory and clinic employeesA
• To provide its technical expertise as part of the event resolution.A
• To conduct all work in compliance with SOPs, GLPs, and observe all company guidelines and policies.A
• Respecting Health and Safety standards in terms of personal protection, laboratory maintenance, and work procedures;A
• To participate in the evaluation and implementation of new technologies;A
• To collaborate with laboratory and clinical trainers to ensure the suitable operation of laboratory and clinical equipment;A
• To act as the backup for the disaster recovery plan with regards to freezers and refrigerators (laboratory and clinical);
What You'll Need to Succeed

• Post High School Studies with experience/knowledge in electromecanics and/or in the medical industry and/or in biopharmaceutical industry.
• Experience/knowledge in electromecanics and/or in the medical industry. Must have understanding of the general SOPs applicable to instrumentation and in knowledge of FDA-GLP.
• Attentive to details
• Manual dexterity
• Capable of handling heavy equipment
• Must possess strong technical problem-solving skills
• Ability to prioritize, good organizational and communication skills (especially written).A
• Able to function with minimal supervision.A
• Fluent in English.A
• Knowledgeable of ISO guidelines. GLP minded.A
• Customer service oriented.A
• Must have a car
