Federated Co-operatives Limited (FCL) is hiring a Technician III, Equipment Integrity on a permanent basis at our Co-op Refinery in Regina, SK.

What you'll do:

You will manage technical programs to ensure the mechanical integrity of equipment across the refinery is maintained at an acceptable risk level. This role will assist in the development and will oversee Asset Care Strategies (ACS) to manage moderately complex Equipment Integrity Programs while ensuring high reliability and mechanical availability of pressure and non-pressure equipment.

Review Results & Analyze (Validate Tactics)

  • You will participate and may lead in the evaluation of results, the analysis of technical information, completion of moderately complex technical evaluations, preparation of technical reports, and determination of appropriate recommendations.
  • You will review inspection results, and if required complete basic asset and fitness for service evaluations, and report findings to appropriate parties (Process, Maintenance, Turnaround, etc.) including clear recommendations for correctives actions if required.
  • You will validate results of the ACS and update the senior members of the Equipment Integrity team.
Develop/Manage programs
  • You will develop moderately complex Equipment Integrity Programs based on regulatory / code requirements and industry best practice.
  • You will lead cross functional teams to analyze the impacts of the applicable Equipment Integrity program on other departments within the refinery and create detailed workflows, procedures, and forms.
  • You will provide initial input implementation and direction of Equipment Integrity Programs including the roll out to the facility which may include working with Learning and Development.
  • You will participate in the detailed audit of EI programs, ensuring alignment to CRC Integrity Management Program.

Who you are:

You are looking for a career in Engineering & Engineering Technology and:
  • You have a You have a 2 Year Technician Diploma from a recognized institution with preference for the mechanical, industrial, or metallurgical related disciplines. Consideration will be made for a combination of lesser education and experience.
  • You have a minimum of 3-6 years of combined technical experience, preferably in the petrochemical/refining industry (a combination of relevant education and experience may be considered).
  • You are registered with the Saskatchewan Applied Science Technologists and Technicians as an Applied Science Technician (AScT) National Board (Sask PEI Level 1), API 510, API 570, API 653 and API 571, or MMP designations are considered an asset
