The Technician Apprentice will work in the Windsor shop to assist in diagnosing, repairing, performing routine maintenance, as well as execute complete rebuilds on a variety of Bobcat equipment and attachments. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Servicing Bobcat equipment in accordance with corporate policies and procedures
Responsible for the maintenance and proper diagnosing of equipment
Assist with installation of snowplow equipment
Troubleshoot, repair, install, perform electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical maintenance & repair on various models of equipment and attachments
Focus on key processes such as completion of service work papers, working with dealer online support, filling out warranty information, and conducting housekeeping duties
You will complete repairs in a timely manner
Perform daily duties in a manner conducive to a safe workplace
Participate in all required Health & Safety training

KEY QUALIFICATIONS:
Must be proficient in performing preventative and necessary maintenance, repairs and inspections of auto, trucks or heavy equipment
You have experience and working knowledge of light duty diesel repair, as well as gasoline
3+ years of experience working on auto, truck/construction equipment
Previous equipment shop mechanic or service technician experience is required
Previous experience with snowplow installations is an asset
Prior experience with transmission and/or differential rebuilding of heavy equipment or transit components would be considered an asset
Possession of essential trade tools and equipment
The ideal candidate must have a valid 310T or 310S License or be enrolled in Ontario's Apprenticeship Program with the College of Trades
Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical issues
Demonstrated previous shop environment skills are required
Self-starter, independent and a team player with a sense of urgency
Proficient with computer systems and machine diagnostics
Excellent mechanical aptitude, analysis and problem-solving skills
Must be willing and able to work flexible hours during normal business hours in support of the business needs
Successful candidates will be motivated, personable and possess excellent communication skills
Must have a valid Ontario driver's license with a clean drivers abstract
