Your contribution!
Reporting to the Manager of Transactional Accounting - Shared Financial Services, you are responsible for the accurate processing of supplier invoices, working closely with buyers to ensure inventory updates and compliance with the approval process, while overseeing the payment workflow across the organization.
Your day-to-day!
Process supplier invoices with or without purchase orders;
Work with buyers to obtain approvals for invoices blocked in the approval system and ensure that inventory is updated;
Code invoices without purchase orders pending in the system to ensure they follow the established approval process;
Maintain rent and payment schedules;
Analyze invoices older than 30 days as defined by the accounts payable manager;
Ensure that accounts payable deadlines are met each month;
Perform all other related duties.
Your skills, our requirements!
Bilingualism (French and English, written and spoken) is required to ensure collaboration with different stakeholders outside of Quebec on a regular basis;
At least 3 years of experience;
Relevant training in accounting;
Excellent skills with software in general (Excel, Acrobat);
Knowledge of general accounting procedures;
Experience managing multiple currencies is an asset;
Experience working within a multi-company organization is an asset;
Experience working for a public company is an asset;
Excellent ability to concentrate, work under pressure, and meet tight deadlines;
Good organizational skills and a strong ability to manage multiple tasks with precision and attention to detail while meeting deadlines;
Independence and ability to learn quickly;
Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills.
Additional considerations!
The position be based in the company's Longueuil (Quebec) headquarters, steps away from the Longueuil-Universite de Sherbrooke metro station.
This position is a S2 level.
