We are currently seeking a highly motivated and skilled Editor/Technical Writer to join our team and contribute to our continuous growth and development. Job Summary We are looking for a meticulous and skilled Editor/Technical Writer to create and refine technical documents that will be used internally and externally. The ideal candidate will have exceptional writing and editing skills, preferably with a technical background and a passion for transforming complex concepts into comprehensible content. Responsibilities

  • Edit and proofread documentation to ensure accuracy, consistency, and adherence to style guidelines.
  • Organize and manage documentation in a logical and easily accessible manner.
  • Participate in cross-functional teams to brainstorm ideas, share expertise, and contribute to the improvement of online learning offerings.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) and engineers who gather and translate technical information into clear, concise, and user-friendly documentation.
  • Maintain a wide range of technical documents, including user manuals and online content.
  • Ensure documentation complies with industry standards, regulations, and best practices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address documentation needs throughout the product development cycle.
Qualifications
  • Detail-oriented approach to content development and a commitment to ensuring high-quality online courses.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Bachelor\'s degree in a relevant field (e.g., English, Technical Writing, Engineering).
  • Strong attention to detail and exceptional editing and proofreading abilities.
  • Proficiency with industry-standard authoring and editing tools (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe FrameMaker, MadCap Flare,).
  • Familiarity with version control and document management systems.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with SMEs and engineers to grasp complex technical concepts.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) and online publishing platforms.
Assets
  • Experience with creating multimedia content (e.g., videos, interactive tutorials).
  • Understanding of user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) design principles.
  • Proven experience as an editor / technical writer, preferably in the Aviation sector.
  • Knowledge of industry-specific terminology and standards.
Job Types: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 6 months Salary: $60,575.00-$64,413.00 per year Flexible Language Requirement:
