We are looking for a Senior iGaming Backend Software Developer with .NET/C# experience to be part of our Research and Development team. In this role, you will support our cloud-based products, be part of a high-performing agile team, and participate in standard Scrum ceremonies. WHAT YOU'LL DO



Key Responsibilities


Business Requirements & Documentation



Gather, analyze, and document detailed

business requirements

for slot games and gaming systems. Write

clear and precise functional specifications

that define gameplay mechanics, bonus features, pay tables, and backend functionalities. Translate complex game concepts into structured documentation that development teams can execute. Ensure that all documentation adheres to internal standards and is easily understandable by both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Slot Game Design Specifications



Collaborate with

game designers

and

mathematicians

to document gameplay logic, feature triggers, jackpot mechanics, and RTP calculations. Specify

game flow

, user interface (UI) behaviors, anticipation animations, and special effects for features such as free spins, cascading reels, and stacked wilds. Work with artists and designers to capture

visual and audio requirements

aligned with gameplay features. Create

game concept decks

and

storyboards

for new titles, including descriptions of bonus rounds, symbols, and volatility profiles.

System Requirements & Integration Specs



Define

backend system requirements

for game integrations, player tracking, jackpots, and bonus engines. Assist in writing

API specifications

and

integration guides

for deploying slot games on partner platforms. Collaborate with

engineering teams

to document data flow diagrams, authentication protocols, and reporting requirements. Ensure seamless

integration with third-party systems

, such as remote gaming servers (RGS), content aggregators, and compliance tools.

Cross-Functional Collaboration



Work closely with

development, QA, and release management teams

to ensure all technical specifications are followed during implementation. Provide

clarifications and updates

on requirements throughout the development lifecycle. Support the

QA team

by reviewing test cases and validating that games and systems meet documented requirements. Collaborate with

compliance teams

to ensure that all functional specifications meet the regulatory standards of targeted jurisdictions.

Process Improvement & Stakeholder Alignment



Continuously

improve the business requirements-gathering process

by adopting best practices and feedback loops. Maintain

version control

for documentation to ensure alignment between internal teams and external stakeholders. Facilitate

requirement review sessions

with stakeholders to ensure alignment before development starts. Ensure

traceability

of all requirements from initial concept through development and testing.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR



Education & Experience

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Game Design, or a related field.

3+ years of experience

as a Technical Writer, preferably in the casino, iGaming, or gaming software industry. Proven experience writing

detailed business and functional specifications

for complex software products. Experience in the

development lifecycle of slot games

, including mathematics, design, development, and certification.

Technical & Analytical Skills



Strong knowledge of

slot game mechanics

(RTP, volatility, jackpots, free spins, cascading reels). Familiarity with

remote gaming servers (RGS)

, gaming platforms, and content management systems. Proficiency in

JIRA, Confluence

, or similar project management and documentation tools. Understanding of

API structures

and ability to write detailed API specifications. Ability to read and understand

game math profiles

and translate them into functional specs.

Soft Skills

written and verbal communication

skills with a strong attention to detail. Ability to

simplify complex concepts

for diverse stakeholders, including developers, designers, and executives. Strong

Preferred Qualifications



Previous experience in

slot game development

or a

casino gaming environment

. Understanding of
