Responsibilities

Develop, write, and maintain detailed technical documentation including user manuals, process guides, system specifications, and training materials. Collaborate with subject matter experts, engineers, product managers, and designers to gather accurate information and ensure clarity in all documentation. Use Visio or similar diagramming tools to create visual representations of workflows, system architectures, and process diagrams that enhance understanding. Edit and proofread all content meticulously to ensure grammatical correctness, consistency in style, and technical accuracy. Conduct research to stay updated on product features, industry standards, and best practices in technical communication. Manage document version control and organize files systematically for easy access and updates using word processing software. Ensure all documentation aligns with company branding guidelines and quality standards while meeting project deadlines.

Requirements

Proven experience in technical writing or a related field with a strong portfolio of technical documentation. Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly to diverse audiences. Proficiency in using Visio for creating diagrams and visual aids that complement written content. Strong editing and proofreading skills to produce polished, error-free documents. Ability to conduct thorough research and synthesize information from multiple sources efficiently. Skilled in word processing tools such as Microsoft Word or similar platforms for document creation and management. Attention to detail with a focus on accuracy, clarity, and consistency across all materials. Nice-to-have skills include familiarity with industry standards for technical documentation, experience working in cross-functional teams, and knowledge of additional diagramming or graphic design tools.
