Linkwave Wireless Solutions Inc. is a leading telecommunications engineering firm specializing in designing, deploying, and maintaining state-of-the-art wireless infrastructure. We serve clients in sectors including transportation, healthcare, commercial real estate, utilities, and public safety.

Our projects span Distributed Antenna Systems (DAS), Wi-Fi networks, Small Cells, and Private LTE/5G solutions.

We are currently seeking a Technical Writer to join our team and support our mission by producing high-quality documentation that contributes to the success of our engineering and project management teams.

Job duties:

Create and revise technical system design documents (SDD) and as-built documents to a high standard of quality and accuracy Review technical documents for conformance to template, accuracy, and consistency of content and formatting Collaborate with subject matter experts to gather information and ensure accuracy of content Translate technical documentation into user-friendly documents Conduct research to gather necessary information for documentation Edit and proofread documents to ensure clarity, consistency, and accuracy Create Quality Management System process documents and work instructions for the Project Management team Update/edit block diagrams, floor plans, and antenna system diagrams based on the technical system specifications Conduct interviews with subject matter experts to gather technical information Edit technical diagrams/drawings in Visio Participate in document version control using SharePoint and other document management tools Use tools such as Word processing software, Visio, and other relevant applications for document creation Maintain project documentation repositories Ensure all technical documents meet clients and government requirements Act as a point of contact for clients' communication Ensure alignment on project goals and deliverables with clients engineering team Track and monitor progress of Project Management tasks to ensure they are completed on time as per schedule and update project tracking tools
Required qualifications/skills:

Bachelor's Degree (general) Minimum 4 years of experience in technical writing, preferably in telecommunications or engineering company Strong understanding of RF principles, network components (e.g., BDA, RRH, DAS Headend), and system integration Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite such as Power Point, Excel and Word Ability to respond effectively to changes by getting adapted to new priorities, timelines, and new requirements Sound knowledge of system design and as-built documents in engineering Hands-on experience in creating Quality Management System (QMS) process documentation At least 3-year of hands-on experience using Visio At least 1 year of hands-on experience using Asana for task tracking, project coordination, and team collaboration in a fast-paced environment. Ability to document antenna installation location, cable routing, equipment location, and grounding specifications Ability to explore and analyze source materials (including maps, drawings, pictures, and specs) to develop technical documents Ability to analyze marked-up pictures and transform those into technical system document design elements Ability to update technical documents in real time while the customer reviews documents Ability to adapt quickly to changing environment Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and time management skills. Position terms:

Type: Full-Time, 3-year temporary position

Salary: $36 per hour

Work hours: from 30 to 35 hours per week (depending on the complexity of the project)
