We are committed to supporting you throughout your job search and at every stage of your career.Your functionI am currently recruiting for one of my clients, a manufacturing company in the transportation field located in Drummondville, a Technical Writer - Permanent position 39h week - hybridReporting to the Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for documentation, user manuals and training for vehicles.You will be responsible for the following tasks:
- Consolidate information with the various teams (engineering, after-sales service, maintenance) to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Design and write documents relating to work instructions, vehicle operating and maintenance manuals.
- Define publication strategies with the teams and build the process for creating assembly-related documents.
- Propose innovative solutions to improve processes and documents
- Create images and diagrams from photos to reinforce technical documentation
- Participate in the filming of operating and maintenance videos (including scripts).
- Assist with product assembly, installation, troubleshooting and repairs
- Establish rigorous progress monitoringYour professional skills- Priority management and rigor

-BAC or DEC in mechanical, electrical or industrial engineering
-Bilingual French - English, mandatory
-Knowledge of mechanical and electrical assemblies
-Experience in product development
-Mastery of Suite Office tools and drawing software (Drafsights, Solidworks...).- Salary: $70k - $90k depending on experience
