• Research, outline, write, and edit content, working closely with various departments to understand project requirements
• Gather information from subject-matter experts and develop, organize, and write how to articles, inline context sensitive tips, release notes, white papers and other software product documentation
• Understand and study product offerings to be able to create articles and documents needed to understand the functionality of a product or service
• Edit documentation for clarity without changing key information
• Update documentation as products evolve
• Gather user feedback on documentation to improve usability

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience as an effective technical writer
• Proven ability to quickly learn and understand complex subject matter
• Experience in writing documentation and procedure manuals for various audiences
• Excellent written skills in English;
• Superb written communication skills, with a keen eye for detail
• Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
• Critical thinker and excellent problem-solving skills;
• Superior time-management skills;

Nice to Have Qualification:

• Experience publishing content in Hubspot
• Experience writing API white papers
• Background in engineering or computer science;
• Professional writing or creative writing experience;
• Experience working with Agile/Scrum software development teams
