Position Summary

As a Technical Trainer in our Lotteries department, you will develop and deliver comprehensive training and training materials that enhance user experiences and ensure successful product launches.

What You Will Do
  • Understand diverse gaming products deeply, covering functionality, structure, and user experience;
  • Develop and manage existing comprehensive training materials (I.e., help sheets, guides, manuals) for proficient user operation and reference;
  • Serve as contact point in product launches, addressing user inquiries for smooth transitions;
  • Collaborate with internal technical teams, testing and enhancing products for better user experience;
  • Customize training plans for individual customers, ensuring effective and personalized learning;
  • Conduct training sessions via various mediums (in-person, remote) and support post-launch issue resolution; and
  • Various other duties and responsibilities.
Qualifications

Knowledge and Experience
  • Post-secondary degree or diploma in education, or IT, or relevant experience in training development and delivery.
  • Experience in communicating technical information to a non-technical audience.
  • Experience with documentation software and publishing tools
Skills and Abilities
  • Proficiency in MS 365 - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project and Visio,
  • Familiarly with Paintshop Pro, Adobe Acrobat, Snag-It would be an asset.
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Well-developed problem-solving skills.

Mandatory Requirements
  • Ability to work outside of core business hours (e.g., evenings, weekends, overtime as required)
  • Ability to travel extensively within Canada (requiring a valid driver\'s license) as well as throughout the US, the Caribbean, and Latin America.
