LiftWerx is a specialized wind energy contractor which performs large corrective repairs, utilizing both ground-based cranes as well as up-tower cranes. LiftWerx offers both specialized equipment and experienced personnel to perform corrective repairs on a wide variety of wind turbines.

This role is an on-site position based out of our office in Cambridge, ON.

Responsibilities

Develop and deliver technical training programs and workshops on wind turbine major corrective repairs. Create training materials, including manuals, guides, and resources tailored to wind turbine technology. Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and make improvements as needed. Assess technicians with respect to their competence upon successful completion of training programs, and issue competency forms for external use. Provide certification of technicians after training programs are successfully completed. Provide onboarding of new employees. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in wind turbine technology. Collaborate with other departments to ensure training aligns with company goals and industry standards. Provide ongoing support and mentorship to trainees, ensuring they are equipped with the skills needed for effective wind turbine repair. Experience & Education

5-10 years of experience in wind energy O&M industry, specifically related to cranes, logistics, wind turbine major corrective repairs, as it relates to Field Work, Operations, and Planning Wind Energy Technician Diploma or Engineering degree GWO Certified Class G Driver's license or equivalent
