Job Description

Our customer is a dynamic company specializing in the design and manufacture of intelligent labeling systems. The company is located on the North Shore, close to major highways (and away from Montreal traffic!). Their main customers are located in North America, but the company plans to expand its market to Europe in the near future. Read on to find out more about this exciting opportunity!

REMOTE TECH & PARTS SUPPORT
- Assist with the technical support calls
- Assist with the processing, preparation and shipment of client\'s parts orders

SERVICE CALLS ON-SITE AT CLIENT
- Conduct client on-site service calls in both Canada & the US.
- Diagnose and repair issues or problems with client\'s machine on site at the client
- Perform some small retro-fit or modifications to client\'s machine in their plant.

SET UP CLIENT\'S NEW LABELING SYSTEMS AT OUR FACTORY
- Set up machines, when there is peak delivery requirements
- Set up product recipes in the HMI
- Conduct an in-house FAT (Factory Acceptance Test) with the client, and then teach them how to operate the machine

JOB REQUIREMENTS
- DEC in Electro-Mechanical would be ideal, but someone that has extensive industry / machine experience, or has done a similar role in the past, would also be highly considered
- Strong mechanical and electrical knowledge.
- Willing and capable to travel to all parts of the US and Canada. (Will need a current and valid Passport)
- Strong Customer Service skills
- Exceptional verbal communication and writing skills in English and in French
- Experience working in the packaging field would be helpful
- Ability to assess client machine issues remotely, using Facetime, Whatsapp, or other video devices.
- Ability to use a computer, E Mail , Microsoft Office etc. fluently
